Question 1

What is scalp micropigmentation?

Accepted Answer

It's a non-invasive aesthetic treatment that deposits micro-pigments into the superficial layer of the scalp to recreate the look of shaved hair or greater density.

Question 2

How does scalp micropigmentation work?

Accepted Answer

We deposit thousands of micro-dots that mimic the look of hair follicles. The result builds up gradually over several sessions, with color and density calibrated to your face.

Question 3

Is scalp micropigmentation suitable for everyone?

Accepted Answer

Yes, it suits every skin type, color and stage of hair loss. During the consultation we assess your specific case to confirm the best solution.

Question 4

What's the difference between scalp micropigmentation and a tattoo?

Accepted Answer

We use specific pigments, deposited at a shallower depth and with dedicated tools. Unlike a tattoo, the result stays natural and doesn't shift color over time.

Question 5

What's the difference between temporary and permanent scalp micropigmentation?

Accepted Answer

The temporary version uses bio-absorbable pigments that fade in 12–18 months; the permanent version uses more stable pigments that last for years, with a touch-up roughly every 3 years.

Question 6

How many sessions are needed to complete the treatment?

Accepted Answer

Usually 3 sessions, at least 7 days apart, to gradually build the density and natural look of the result.

Question 7

How long does temporary scalp micropigmentation last?

Accepted Answer

Roughly 12–18 months, after which the pigments fade progressively until they disappear.

Question 8

How long does permanent scalp micropigmentation last?

Accepted Answer

The result lasts for years and is stable: usually a touch-up every 3 years is enough to keep it looking perfect.

Question 9

Does the color change over time?

Accepted Answer

It tends to fade gradually while keeping a natural tone. The quality pigments we use don't shift toward unnatural colors.

Question 10

Does scalp micropigmentation turn blue or green?

Accepted Answer

No. We use pigments made specifically for scalp micropigmentation that fade to natural grey tones, without the color shifts of old tattoos.

Question 11

Will it still look natural when my hair turns grey?

Accepted Answer

Yes — the result can be adjusted with touch-ups, and by keeping the hair shaved short the contrast stays natural even as you go grey.

Question 12

Does the shaved-look result look natural?

Accepted Answer

Yes — thanks to the Micro Point Shadow® technique the micro-dots are indistinguishable from real shaved hair.

Question 13

Can you tell up close?

Accepted Answer

No: the dots are extremely small and indistinguishable from shaved hair, even up close and under any light.

Question 14

Can I have it if I'm completely bald?

Accepted Answer

Yes — it's the ideal solution to redraw the hairline and recreate the look of a full, defined shaved head.

Question 15

Can I keep shaving after the treatment?

Accepted Answer

Yes — it's recommended in order to keep the result looking natural.

Question 16

Does the shaved look work with very dark hair?

Accepted Answer

Yes — the pigment is matched to your natural hair color for an even result, even on very dark hair.

Question 17

Does the shaved look work with very fair skin?

Accepted Answer

Yes — we calibrate the pigment intensity to achieve a natural, harmonious contrast even on the fairest skin.

Question 18

Can scalp micropigmentation make hair look thicker?

Accepted Answer

Yes — by depositing pigment between existing hairs it reduces the contrast with the scalp and increases the apparent density.

Question 19

Can I have it done without shaving?

Accepted Answer

Yes — for the density effect we work between the hairs you already have, with no need to shave them.

Question 20

Is the density treatment suitable for long hair?

Accepted Answer

Yes — it's ideal for those with thinning who still keep medium-to-long hair.

Question 21

How long does the density treatment last?

Accepted Answer

Like the other applications: it depends on the technique chosen, temporary (months) or permanent (years with touch-ups).

Question 22

Can I have it if I still have a lot of hair?

Accepted Answer

Yes — it's particularly effective on early-stage thinning, filling in the less dense areas naturally.

Question 23

Can you treat only certain thinning areas?

Accepted Answer

Yes — specific areas can be treated, such as the crown or hairline, leaving the rest unchanged.

Question 24

Can I have scalp micropigmentation after a hair transplant?

Accepted Answer

Yes — it's a complementary treatment that increases perceived density and optimizes the result of the transplant.

Question 25

Does it add density after a transplant?

Accepted Answer

Yes — it fills the gaps between transplanted follicles, reducing see-through areas and improving the sense of fullness.

Question 26

Does it cover FUT scars?

Accepted Answer

Yes — it camouflages the linear scar typical of the FUT technique, making it far less visible.

Question 27

Does it cover FUE scars?

Accepted Answer

Yes — it covers the small dots left by FUE extraction, evening out the look of the scalp.

Question 28

Will the scar still be visible after the treatment?

Accepted Answer

Visibility is greatly reduced. The result depends on the type and condition of the scar, which we assess during the consultation.

Question 29

Does scalp micropigmentation hurt?

Accepted Answer

Discomfort is minimal: most clients describe it as a light tingling. Only in some cases is it more bothersome, but always manageable.

Question 30

How long does a session last?

Accepted Answer

Generally 1 to 3 hours, depending on the size of the area to be treated.

Question 31

Are there side effects afterwards?

Accepted Answer

At most a slight redness for 24–48 hours. There's no downtime: you can go straight back to your activities.

Question 32

What pigments are used?

Accepted Answer

Pigments made specifically for scalp micropigmentation, certified and safe, formulated to ensure color stability and a natural look.

Question 33

Is scalp micropigmentation safe?

Accepted Answer

Yes — it's a non-invasive treatment carried out by specialized professionals following strict hygiene standards.

Question 34

What hygiene standards do you follow during the treatment?

Accepted Answer

We use single-use sterile materials and work in a constantly sanitized environment, in full compliance with regulations.

Question 35

How much does scalp micropigmentation cost?

Accepted Answer

The cost depends on the size of the area and the complexity. During the free consultation we'll give you a personalized, transparent quote.

Question 36

How much does the density treatment cost?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the area and the level of thinning to treat. The price is set individually during the consultation.

Question 37

How is the price calculated?

Accepted Answer

Based on the size of the area, the number of sessions needed and the complexity of the work (e.g. scars or reconstructions).

Question 38

Is the consultation free?

Accepted Answer

Yes — the first consultation is free and with no obligation. We assess your situation and answer all your questions.

Question 39

Can I have an online consultation?

Accepted Answer
